I have a 2021 M1 MacBook Pro. When I attempt to use Logic Pro Flex Pitch, there is major lag between commands and action. The song has 5 tracks, is less than 4 minutes, and I'm using Flex Pitch on one vocal track only. When I click off Flex Pitch, it runs fine.
Audio settings are:
Core Audio enabled
128 I/O buffer size
32-bit Summing (whatever THAT means)
Has anyone had a problem like this?

Same problem here with Mac mini M2. Not a big session. I even tried deactivating EVERY track but the vocal track and it's still happening. It's right when Logic has to show the notes on a Flex Pitch situation. In the Arrange Window or the Track Edit window.
I moved the session to my 2019 MacBook Pro with Intel, same thing. But it didn't happen on a different session with in my MacMini. It seems to be session related.
I don't experience lags, but Flex can be very CPU intensive and could cause unexpected issues.
I therefore recommend that once you have found a Flex setting that you like, bounce it to a new track and disable Flex.
BTW:
default summing is 64 bit.

the higher the buffer size, the higher the latency.
I have this same issue- Ive tried increasing my I/O buffer to 1024 but to no avail. Its super frustrating :/
