iMac making intermittent clicking noises

I have a 2017 21-inch iMac running the latest Ventura macOS. A few days ago, I noticed an occasional series of clicking noises. After looking at postings here, I suspected it might be a hard drive issue, so I booted into Recovery mode and ran the Disk Utility repair as directed. The clicking, however, continues. Anything I can do? I'm worried about a possible hard drive failure. Thanks.

I'm worried about a possible hard drive failure.

Why? If a hard disk drive fails, there's nothing you can do about it other than replace it. They can't be fixed.

Keep using it until it fails or becomes intolerably slow. Then, replace it and restore its content from a Time Machine backup. To learn how to use Time Machine please read Back up your files with Time Machine on Mac - Apple Support.
