I am not able to update Chrome anymore on my MacBook Pro (Early 2011)

I currently have a MacBook Pro (Early 2011) and am not able to update Chrome anymore. I tried updating to macOS High Sierra (the only new OS that is still supported) without luck. Any suggestions?

Tried updating from the app store and finding downloadable updates. No luck.

Just to add to the good advise so far...

Possible workarounds for not being able to upgrade...

Mostly you just need a more modern Browser than Safari on Catalina, Mojave, or High Sierra like Firefox or Brave.

Details about recent download Brave, for 10.13.6/10.14.6 are here:

Thanks to dialabrain…

Firefox 115 is now the current version. runs in High Sierra.

119.0.1 is now the current version and requires 10.15 or later.
