Migrate El Capitan to Mini M2

I have an Early 2009 Mac Pro running El Capitan. She and I are both getting old and creaky. I have a new Mac Mini M2 ordered. Likely silly question but is there a graceful way to migrate El Capitan to whatever will come with my new Mini? Thanks.
