So I have been wanting to play music on Spotify while playing Roblox wondering if there’s anything in settings I can do that will make it play (please don’t give me the uninstall thing like everyone else)

What i do is I use youtube instead to play music. Sounds lame, I know, but it works.
With YT premium you can play videos in a small window when you close the app, and it continues playing.
When you open the roblox app it does stop playing at first. But when it does, just play the video in the pop up screen from YT and it should continue playing. You can then just slide the video to the side to hide it.
This works for me on iPhone 11. I dont know if it works on iPad but you can try.

For me, it used to work until 2 weeks ago (as long as I had the slide-over version of Spotify enabled) on my iPad. Now it doesn’t work, even when I turn the in-game sound of roblox off. Spotify used to override Roblox sound, but now Roblox takes back control of the sound for it just to play, you guessed it: absolutely nothing!
I contacted Roblox support about this issue as well & they said “wE’lL lOOk iNtO iT 🤓” with an automated bot reply. Haven’t heard from them since. This is frustrating because I don’t like playing Roblox with my sound off entirely. Other games such as Minecraft will work with Spotify just fine (it overrides the in-game audio like it’s supposed to). Don’t really know why Roblox is intentionally making it impossible to play Spotify while in-game. Back in 2021, they stopped letting Spotify be played from control center too, but playing it in slide-over like previously mentioned still worked. It doesn’t hurt them for me to play my own music on my own device, does it?
Only one app can use the audio system at a time, so if Roblox uses sounds or music then nothing else can.
