Mail keeps reformatting sentences, I will write and go to edit and it will sometimes replace words and sentences from previous paragraphs into the current one- has anyone else had this happen? Or know a fix? I have rebuilt the mailbox. thank you

Known issue introduced into Mail with Sonoma 14.3
At the moment we can only suggest a workaround by preparing the e-mail in a Text Based Editor
Then, copy and past into a blank e-mail
Not doubt with all the possible reports set to Apple, it maybe fixed in some updated version of Sonoma
Just when that may be, sorry only Apple would know.
I'm having the same issue, it takes me three times as long to write an email in Apple Mail because my text keeps reformatting. It's extremely frustrating when writing long client emails to read back and see that sentences are being duplicated multiple times and then I have to delete multiple times, and re write.
Writing emails in another platform IS NOT THE FIX APPLE!!!!!
I'm glad that's been your experience but I am having this same problem as well as in Messages. When I am writing a long-ish text, the last sentences isnert themselves somewhere at the beginning of the message and I lose the original lines. Using Edit>Undo doesn't fix it, oftentimes even causes another error. It is so annoying I barely enjoy writing bc if I don't proofread as I go along, I lose a lot of it!
And yes, I've already reported this obvious Apple bug via Feedback.
Interesting, I'll check out Spark. I've already shifted to not buying any new products from Apple, so it would be nice to get away from apps like Mail too if Apple is going to support them so poorly.
