Apple ID Security

Hi there,

I have a few questions on Apple ID:

I need to know where my Apple ID is stored and how secure is it.

Will changing my name of my Apple ID affect my Apple ID, iCloud and other Apple applications?

Can I change the mode of payment for subscriptions, without impacting the existing purchases / subscriptions?

I want to gift an iPad to my musician friend, loaded with a few purchased applications and subscriptions, can she change her Personal Information and payment details in future?

You can change the Mail address for your Apple ID as explained in this article:

Change your Apple ID - Apple Support

This will not affect your subscriptions and apps, only creating a completely new Apple ID will do that.

You can not merge to different Apple ID accounts.

You can also use Apple Gift Cards to pay for most of your purchases and Apple services:

Purchases can only be shared if you use Family Sharing, and you should only use one Apple ID on your device.

Updating apps can only be done if you know the Apple ID password for the app.
