Date Format on Menu Bar to Include Year

I have recently upgraded to OS Ventura 13.6.4 on an iMac and notice the date in the menu bar doesn't include the year. 

I have opened System Settings > General > Date and Time and the year is included as part of the date format e.g. 05-02-2024 (dd-mm-yyyy), but I can't find a way to add the year to the menu bar.

Is it possible to add the year to the menu bar and if so, how?
