2016 MacBook Pro 15" Starting Up with a Question Mark semi-regularly

Greetings!

My main question today is if it would behoove me to purchase a new MacBook sooner rather than later. Over the past few weeks, my Mac has been starting up with a static folder with a questions mark. It is easily remedied by rebooting into recovery and repairing the disks, after which it will go a few days with no issue. Doing this is no problem, but I do rely on my MacBook for work, and I am wondering if once this starts happening if it means the end is very near, or if I could continue on in this manner for years. My MacBook is mainly used for emails, writing, web browsing, and other very basic functions. No gaming, coding, or anything that takes substantial firepower.

I know this cannot be answered definitively, but I am really looking to draw on the experience of people who have seen these issues on these machines. At this point is it likely that my machine may need a costly repair in the next 3-6 months, or is this something that it may be able to limp along with for quite awhile longer. Any input would be appreciated. Machine specs below.
