MacOS Desktop Battery Widget and Screen Time Conflict

I am using the native battery widget on my Mac's desktop and notification center. However, when my Screen Time activates, it says that its time limit has been reached [screenshot enclosed].

Looking through the "Always Allowed" app listing, Batteries is not listed. This is not an issue on my iPhone or iPad; iOS and iPadOS show their respective battery widgets when Screen Time is activated in all locations.

I don't know if this is a bug or if I am just missing a setting somewhere to make this widget on Mac always work.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
