When I record a video, the image randomly freezes and the iPhone stops recording on its own at various times.
I bought an iPhone 15 Pro Max at the end of October and I've been recording all my son's hockey games. Before I switched to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, I had an iPhone 14 Pro Max and never encountered a problem like this.
When I record a video, the image randomly freezes and the iPhone stops recording on its own. The following steps have been attempted:
- Resetting the iPhone;
- Restoring the iPhone and starting from a new backup;
- Changing the physical camera;
- Modifying the video settings;
- Trying airplane mode, and performing a hardware analysis which found nothing, but the problem continued to persist.
On my 3rd visit to the Apple Store, they finally replaced my iPhone. Unfortunately, the problem has not been resolved and seems to be getting worse over time.
While reading the forums, the problem seems to be more frequent with team sports video recordings.
Today, February 5, 2024, I returned to the Apple Store, and they also have no solution to offer other than to completely disable a VPN or to restore my phone again. The restoration has already been tried. If disabling the VPN doesn't fix the problem, they say all I can do is hope that Apple becomes aware of this issue and releases an update later.
So, I am left with a very expensive iPhone that cannot record a sports match, which is the reason I upgraded my iPhone. No solution or answer seems able to solve my problem.
Do you have any suggestions for making Apple aware of the issue that does not seem to be isolated?"
