numbers:shared expenses template

am using the shared expenses template with my roommate. At the end of every month We would like to settle any money owed but I can't find how to enter that debt or money owed so we can continue sharing expenses and paying each other off what we owe at the end of every month. thanks for any tips or suggestions.

How could I, on a case-by-case basis, edit the last column (Expense Per Person) so that it does not split the amount, but rather applies it as a payment from one user to another?

Can I have multiple payment methods for different subscriptions? I am a part of a family share plan. I understand the Organizer has to have the main payment method. However, can there be a second payment method specified assigned for specific subscriptions?

File > New and look in the Personal Finance section of the template browser. You can't miss it.

It is not possible to settle amounts owed and start afresh with a blank template on the following month?

For some reason I can't find the Shared Expenses template on my Numbers. Currently using Sonoma.

Does anyone know what might be going on?
