Is there a way to disable camera swipe to the left on iPhone, but not disable my camera?

Is there a way to disable camera swipe to the left, but NOT disable my camera? I am new to IPhone and bought the IPhone15 Pro Max for its camera and ability to take photos in RAW. I seem to constantly activate the camera by swiping to the left and it is very annoying and confusing, especially when I am looking for another menu. I just want to activate the camera by using the camera icon alone.

If you mean from the lock screen, you swipe left and it opens the camera, I'm afraid that is baked into iOS. I had to actually try what you meant because I've never once done this by accident. But no, you can't turn that off.

I understand what you were hoping for. It's just not a user configurable feature on iPhone.

Thank you. I have sent a suggestion to your apple link. also, I wasn't suggesting getting rid of the swipe as I am sure there are people using it; I just want to be able to configure my IPhone to disable it.
