How do I reset my Apple ID password?

Unable to go under my Apple ID on the phone. Appears to be locked. Unable to access to access emails, etc.

Need Password reset in order to gain access

To reset the password, you will need to follow 1 of the 3 steps from the article already viewed on the top of the page. You are correct that you will not be able to access iCloud emails or change any settings with your Apple ID until that has been done. With the Apple ID being locked, the solution is to reset the Password.
