Transfer data between two Mac mini

What cable should I use to transfer data from a 2007 Mac Mini to a new Mac Pro2 mini?

User David McKinlay's ethernet cable advice is good.


I'd advise you to kill two birds with one stone. Back up your old mini with Time Machine and an external ssd and use that back up drive to transfer your files. After that, use the drive with Time Machine on your new Mac mini to keep that computer backed up.
