Standard alarm clock on apple watch? Clear beeping or sound, haptic doesn't matter?

Hi,

I am confused about how to set a normal alarm on an apple watch. We're talking the same type of alarm any $10 Casio watch can set. You set a time, and at that time a loud & clear beeping or other noise is made.

U then set it nearby and sleep/ work on very physical project, do something else that you don't want a watch on for, but still want an alarm, and then, at the appointed time, the alarm goes off.

I don't want to have to plug the watch in, I don't want to have to crank up the volume across the entire OS, I don't want to have to wear the watch-- I simply want the $10 level of functionality out of this $1000 small computer.

I cannot figure this out, but I must, Must be missing something obvious.
