facetime drops when I open a different app

Whenever I FaceTime with a friend, it drops randomly, I open a different app, such as Snapchat, or instagram, or even iMessage, It says in the little side bubble “connection is unstable” then hangs up automatically. It’s not my WiFi I got brand new WiFi running at 1 gig. Why is this happening? I backed up my phone, updated it to the latest firmware, and reset network settings as the Apple advisor suggested, and it still happens.

FaceTime issues Your iOS 16 update has turned FaceTime from a great app into a load of crap. Basic troubleshooting like restarting my phone and deleting and reinstalling the app does not work and was not fixed with iOS 16.2. Facetime just keeps connecting. Whenever I use facetime, its just connecting tho I have stable internet.
