Updating and Upgrading macOS High sierra

Hello, I have a problem in updating my mac which is high sierra 10.13 and would like to upgrade to 10.15. Catalina 10.15 does not support my mac and still can't update and upgrade my macOS high sierra any help? I have checked the resources and help from apple store, but i think the don't understand my problem which is, let me put it in a string "You know a lot of latest macOS has a path where you go to apple icon, then system preference and then software update, but my macOS does not have that, i looked like a million time". Also i need like to update my macOS to 10.15......so how can i do that, if not how can i update and upgrade my macOS high sierra 10.13???

The macOS version you can upgrade to depends on the year your Mac was released.

Click the Apple menu () at the top of your screen and choose About This Mac.

✅ Check the compatibility of your Mac hardware with newer versions of macOS software:

➡️ macOS 10.15 Catalina is compatible with the Macs listed here (c.2012)

If your Mac is compatible with the OS upgrade, then this:

Update macOS on Mac - Apple Support

Alternative Method–

➡️ Download the macOS upgrade installer app:

Click > macOS 10.15 Catalina.

Once downloaded, double-click the “Install macOS…” app now found in the Applications folder to begin the upgrade.

❗️– IMPORTANT –

None of your old 32-bit apps will work in macOS Catalina or newer, including MS Office, Adobe Photoshop and many other older apps and drivers. This will require that you find 64-bit updates and/or replacement titles.

Use the free utility Go64 to check the 64-bit compatibility of your currently installed apps:

If your Mac is not compatible with an OS upgrade, then there is nothing you can do. There is no path forward but to replace the computer with a newer one.
