In photo mode, I don’t get a shutter sound

I have an iPhone 15 pro running iOS 17.3.

When I take a photo with my iPhone, I do not get a shutter sound, but when I am in portrait mode, I get a shuttle sound is the setting I have screwed up?

Camera shutter sound ? On iPhone 25 Pro , When I want to be discrete while taking a picture,the only way that have found is silence my phone and to turn off the who system sound. But Then my phone doesn’t ring and I can’t hear my text notifications. If I lower the ringer volume the shutter sound still goes off with each picture I take. I think Haptic sounds has somehow is the culprit. What combination of settings do I need to be able to turn off camera shutter sound, and still hear my phone and my ringers and my notifications. Thank you for your help.

The Photo mode does not give any sound if Live is turned on.
