Here are some steps you can take:
1. Restart Your iPad:
Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve software glitches that may be causing the alarm sound issue. Try restarting your iPad by holding down the power button until the power-off slider appears, then slide it to power off. After a few moments, press and hold the power button again until the Apple logo appears to restart your iPad.
2. Check Alarm Settings:
Verify that the alarm sound you've selected is still set in the Clock app. Open the Clock app, go to the Alarms tab, and tap on the alarm in question. Confirm that the correct sound is selected under the "Sound" option.
3. Update iPadOS:
Ensure that your iPad is running the latest version of iPadOS. Sometimes, software updates include bug fixes that can resolve issues with alarm sounds. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to check for and install any available updates.
4. Reset Alarm Settings:
If the issue persists, try deleting and recreating the problematic alarm. Open the Clock app, delete the alarm that's not playing the correct sound, and create a new one with the desired sound.
5. Reset All Settings:
If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting all settings on your iPad. This won't erase your data, but it will reset all settings to their default values. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.
6. Contact Apple Support:
If the problem still persists after trying the above steps, it's recommended to contact Apple Support for further assistance. They can provide additional troubleshooting steps and help determine if there may be a hardware-related issue causing the problem.
I hope one of these solutions resolves the issue with your alarm sound.

Open the settings app. You should see sounds and haptics. If not, search it up. Scroll till you see sounds and Haptic patterns, and click on it. Tap the sound you want to change. Tap it to hear the ring tone and then you can set it as a new sound.
