Uninstalling macOS Sonoma:

1. Backup Your Data:

   - Before starting, ensure you have a current backup of all your important data. This will prevent any accidental data loss during the uninstallation process.

2. Access Recovery Mode:

   - Restart your Mac and hold down

Command + R

during the startup process. This will boot your Mac into Recovery Mode.

3. Disk Utility:

   - In Recovery Mode, go to

Utilities

in the menu bar and select

Disk Utility

. Use Disk Utility to erase the current macOS Sonoma installation from your drive.

4. Reinstall macOS:

   - After erasing the disk, exit Disk Utility and choose the option to reinstall macOS. This will download and install the previous macOS version that was on your Mac before Sonoma.

5. Follow Installation Steps:

   - Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the reinstallation process. Make sure to select the correct drive and confirm the installation.

6. Restore Data:

   - Once the previous macOS version is installed, you can restore your data from the backup you created earlier.

Additional Tips:

- If you have a Time Machine backup, you can also restore your system to a state before the macOS Sonoma installation.

- Ensure that all your important applications are compatible with the previous macOS version you are reinstalling.
