I have an IPad mini 4

I was wondering if I should get a newer version , I do not .have music or do gaming but sometimes if I check on something( example Coronation Street) it said I have to have a higher version , and a couple other things happened with others. I have been looking at refurbished one at Amazon. I have a laptop and a smartphone but tend to use this one the most but the refurbished is 32 GB, double what I have now. My family bought my first iPad for me couple years ago and I this one I purchased from online from a lady I do not have Facebook on here as I moved it to my laptop and whatever I did not use I deleted it. I drive my oldest daughter crazy at times with my questions, she is super talented and sometimes my questions sound like children’s questions, lol. I read novels on here but keep it to a minimum and then delete them. So I hope you can help me with this.
