Blocked Podcast with no explicit content on Apple Podcasts

The Elisabeth Elliot Podcast of a famous Christian missionary describing wholesome things is certainly not explicit, but is blocked when restricting explicit content.

How to submit a report to Apple to fix this?

The creator of the Podcast is the one that sets the content rating.

Each podcast has a "Report a Concern" button on it if you think that a podcast should be labeled as explicit.

Have you contacted the creator of the Elisabeth Elliot Podcast to see why they marked it not suitable for children?

Have you reported a concern on the Daily Wire podcast?

As for lawsuit if Apple does not fix this immediately, Really?? OK??

This is a user to user forum and those threats have no impact to any of us.

The podcast that contained explicit content was the Whatever podcast. It was shocking since I have explicit content blocked. I have reported that as well with the time of one of the worst sections.

I really would like to be able to listen to the Elisabeth Elliot podcast while also actually blocking explicit content. I do not understand why the podcasts that clearly contain no explicit content and are labeled clean by the content creator are blocked. Can you help me figure out how to get Apple to correct that issue?

Using the Report a Concern link like you did is what it takes to get the podcast reviewed. It seems like you did that with the podcasts that you were concerned about. You can also send Feedback to Apple using the link below, but the link you used is the most direct way to identify the podcast.

The rating for the Elisabeth Elliot podcast is “clean.”

The rating for the Daily Wire podcasts In referencing is “clean.”

The creators did not label their podcasts explicit.

Did you use the link on the Daily Wire podcast to Report a Concern? It is best to include the time in the podcast that references Profanity and Sexual Content not suitable for children to be reviewed.

When creators post a new podcast, they are responsible for labeling if the podcast contains Profanity and Sexual Content not suitable for children. If the creator of the podcast that you referenced labeled it as clean, another user may have used the Report a Concern link to identify parts of that podcast that may not be suitable for children.

The Daily Wire podcasts do not have explicit content either. Both the Elisabeth Elliot podcast and the Daily Wire podcasts (specifically Jordan Peterson, but also Michael Knowles and Matt Walsh) do not contain explicit content, are labeled clean, but are blocked. I did Report a Concern for the Elisabeth Elliot podcast and the Jordan Peterson podcast (because those were so obvious that they do not contain explicit content).

Unblock explicit content, listen to the podcast then re-block it before allowing a child to use your device.

It's important to remember that not everyone has the same views about what is "shocking" or bad.
