Apple pencil replacement tip not screwing on

I dropped my pencil on the floor and the tip came off. I tried buying replacement tips and connecting them, but they just spin around and don't screw on. Any ideas?

Unfortunately the tip came off, I tried putting it back on and twisting however it just pushes it back out straight away. I then ordered replacement tips in case the tip was the problem and the exact same thing is happening with the replacement tips. Hence Im assuming theres the problem with the Apple Pencil itself. Large Gap In Apple Pencil I dropped my Apple Pencil on the floor. Once I picked it up, there was a gap in the pencil. I tried screwing the tip back in but it just fully would now go in. I looked around the floor where the I dropped the pencil but I didn't see anything. I never changed the tips as this is a new pencil I got about three months ago. Is this a easy fix or a "shell out $80 for a new one" thing? (ignore the picture quality, my rear camera broke so i had to use the selfie camera) [Edited by Moderator]

if it was me then I would have a repair place look at it to see if more broke

an apple store or official repair place would be the way to go
