Siri voice keeps reverting back

Why does the Siri voice keep reverting back to American. I have changed it multiple times now. Why does it keep happening, and why hasn’t it been fixed? Why give a choice when really you are choosing it for the consumer?????

apple is making Samsung look (sound) better and better!

I have an open support case with Apple, they are baffled as to the cause. I attempted all support suggested fixes short of a hard reset. My fix finally, was to change to American, male feedback. It seems that only the American, female voice feedback is the only one with this issue.

Siri changes voice on its own (in certain cases, at certain times) I have my Siri voice set to American (Voice 3). I'm very familiar with how his voice sounds, and I enjoy hearing it. However, sometimes, in certain cases, a different voice responds to me. For example this morning I said, Hey Siri, what's the forecast for today? And instead of my familiar voice 3, I get somebody else (I'm not sure if it's one of the listed voice choices; it doesn't seem to be). If I ask something else, however, like a piece of knowledge that Siri will search for on the web, I get voice 3. I know it's a small thing, but this together with all the other small things, compromises my experience, overall. Thanks.

American Female Siri no longer speaks iOS 13.5.1, iPhone XS Max The American, Female version of Siri no longer speaks (is audible) on Maps or just straight Siri. Doesn't matter if it's Bluetooth or iPhone. It's not related to the "Voice Feedback" setting (it's set to "Always". It's not a volume issue (the volume is maxed on the Siri screen). This is literally a bug or a corruption of something related to the Siri American, Female version. How do I know this? Simply changing to Male on American (or any other accent), without changing anything else, makes Siri audible again. I've submitted a bug report, but is anyone else having this problem? If so, have you been able to solve it on your own? (FYI: I've rebooted the phone like eight million times already)

Nobody around here can answer these sorts of “why?” questions. That’s best left for Apple.

Switch to Australian or some other Siri voice, and use that pending changes from Apple.

Yup, having the same issue on my iPad. After using Australian or Irish voice, device randomly switches back to American. I’m then required to download the other voice, select it and it’s fine for a few days, then reverts back to American. Everything is up to date - no idea why this keeps happening, but extremely annoying.
