Apple Watch and iphone Activity sync
I took my phone on my walk, but not my apple watch. My steps don't appear on my Activity on my watch. I thought it all updated?

You need the watch.
I only had the phone on my 5 mile walk. The iPhone and Apple Watch are paired. Once reunited w my watch, the steps from my phone never went to my activity on my watch. That confused me.
Thanks. I was hoping that the activity on my phone would share w the watch after the fact. Live and learn
Looking at my health data, It looks like it uses phone data if the watch is on charge.
Left on a shelf it may not.
