How to stop two factor verification

If two-factor authentication has been enabled for more than two weeks, or was enabled when the Apple ID was created, it cannot be disabled. Within two weeks of enabling, see the mail message that was received when two-factor was enabled.

Add to that without two-factor authentication turned on you will not have access to a number of services provided by Apple.
