How to factory reset iPad 8th gen

Can nit sign out of iCloud.

You'll not be able to fully sign-out of iCloud if you have set a ScreenTime Passcode. If set, the ScreenTime Passcode must be disabled from iPad settings:

Settings > Screen Time > Screen Time Passcode > Change Passcode > Turn Off Passcode


A factory reset is performed using a Windows PC (with iTunes for Windows installed) or a Mac computer (with iTunes or Finder - as appropriate for the installed version of macOS).

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
