Why can’t I erase my safari history

I have tried many things to make the remove button available.. like checking out my screen time settings and safari settings..but it’s still grayed out. I have plenty of datas to remove and I also tried to restart the phone and it won’t work for 6months. Please tell me what’s wrong..

iPhone 13, iOS 16

There are only 3 reasons that I know of:

  • Screen Time Restriction - Instead of turning off the specific content restriction, you can try shutting it off altogether by going to Settings > Screen Time, and scroll to the bottom to Turn Off Screen Time.
  • No data to delete
  • MDM (Mobile Device Management) set up from a school or work environment that prevents the data from being deleted. You can check at Settings > General > VPN & Device Management. There should be no profiles there.
