iPad not syncing with my iPhone anymore

What exactly is not syncing? You need yo be specific about what things aren't syncing.

iPads and iPhone can sync say Contacts, Calendat, Notes, Email etc... if you have them set to do so. But each item is configured separately using iCloud.

You may want to look at the following support document and verify what you want to be synced is correctly set up and turned on on both devices for things not directly synced through iCloud.
