M2 Keyboard Lag

I recently purchased an 512GB SSD Mac Mini M2. At the sametime I purchased a logitech MX keys wireless keyboard and mouse.

The amount of lag from the keyboard is unbearable and literally cannot use this new mac at all because of it. I've tried other keyboards and have the same issue as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm super bummed to have spent all this money on my first Mac and I can't even use it.

Thanks

FWIW, I have a 2023 M2 Pro Mac mini, and basically the same Logitech MX keyboard with it. The key for full keyboard responsiveness is to make sure nothing is blocking the Bluetooth signal between these devices.

As I'm sure you are already aware there are two methods to connect these keyboards with your Mac:

  1. Via Bluetooth LE, or
  2. Via Logi Bolt USB Receiver (small USB-A dongle)

In my case, I elected to use the latter connected to my Dell monitor, and have not experienced any lags using this keyboard.
