Storage issues

My daughter is apart of our family storage plan, but her phone keeps telling her she is out of storage. When you go to Settings, General, Storage it doesn't show our 2T of storage on the family plan. When you go to our family plan it states that it has been accepted and that we have plenty of storage. We just did the most recent update and have deleted things off her phone, but it is still happening. What is going on?

iPhone 14 Plus, iOS 17

The storage on iPhone was fixed at purchase and can never be increased. You're referring to iCloud Storage which has no bearing on the storage on her iPhone. If she is out of space on her iPhone, she needs to delete things she doesn't need or use, such as photos, music, videos, files, apps, messages, email.

Hello Alivia! So the Family plan is part of iCloud, when you go Settings-General-Storage, that’s the physical storage on the iPhone itself which can’t be increased and they come in 128gb, 256gb, 512gb etc.

On her phone, if you go and click on her name then iCloud, and see what is being stored on the cloud from her phone will give you a little bit better idea I believe.

Hope this helped! If you need any more info, I’ll do my best to respond
