Viewing Scansnap data residing in pc on my iPad wirelessly

I have an iPad 9th gen. I also have a pc and Scansnap scanner. Usually I scan documents to the pc. But sometimes I would like to view those scanned documents on my iPad. I have a wireless network and both my pc and my iPad are connected to that wireless network. My question is, how can I view my Scansnap documents using my iPad?

To view your Scansnap documents stored on your PC wirelessly on your iPad, you can use various methods. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to achieve this:

1. Set Up File Sharing on Your PC:

- Ensure that file sharing is enabled on your PC so that your iPad can access the scanned documents. You can do this by creating a shared folder on your PC and granting appropriate permissions for access.

2. Connect Your iPad to the Same Wi-Fi Network:

- Ensure that your iPad is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your PC. Both devices need to be on the same network for file sharing to work.

3. Install a File Sharing App on Your iPad:

- There are several file-sharing apps available on the App Store that allow you to access files stored on your PC from your iPad. Some popular options include FileBrowser, Documents by Readdle, and FileExplorer.

4. Access Shared Folder on Your iPad:

- Open the file-sharing app you installed on your iPad and navigate to the option to add a network location or server.

- Enter the network address of your PC or the IP address along with the shared folder path. This will typically be in the format `\\<PC Name or IP Address>\<Shared Folder Name>`.

- If prompted, enter the username and password for your PC to authenticate the connection.

5. View and Manage Scanned Documents:

- Once connected, you should be able to browse the shared folder on your PC from your iPad. Navigate to the folder where your Scansnap documents are stored and view or manage them directly from your iPad.

6. Optional: Use Cloud Storage Services:

- Alternatively, you can upload the scanned documents to a cloud storage service like iCloud Drive, Google Drive, or Dropbox from your PC. Then, access the cloud storage app on your iPad to view and manage the documents.

By following these steps, you should be able to access and view your Scansnap documents stored on your PC wirelessly from your iPad. If you encounter any issues, make sure that both devices are properly connected to the same Wi-Fi network and that file sharing permissions are configured correctly on your PC.

Your iPad is capable of opening PDF files. I'd use iCloud. You just need to go to iCloud.com and upload any files you want to view. You'll be able to access them in the Files app on your iPad.

What format are these documents in? Where are they stored? Sometimes, the easiest way is just to email them to yourself.

You can also use iCloud.com
