why is my Z and y in reverse order ON THE iPAD TOUCH KEY screen

Since day one I received my iPad 8th generation the on screen touch keyboard, the Z is located where the Y letter should be and the letter Y is is located where the Z should be. My setting language is English. I did not find an option for US English. How do I correct this?

Sounds like you may have a German keyboard.

  • Check at Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards. Verify the Keyboards.
  • Check at Settings > General > Language & Region. Verify the Region of the device.
