Our iPhone has iOS 17.2.1. Siri was announcing the name on both incoming and outgoing calls. Suddenly it stopped announcing outgoing calls but continues to announce incoming calls. We did not make any changes to settings (that I know of). What should l I do to restart the announcing of outgoing calls? Thank you.

First, make sure that your iPhone is up-to-date: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
If you’re still having the issue after doing that, you’ll want to check your Siri response preference. You can do this by going to Settings > Siri & Search > Siri responses > and then make sure that “prefer spoken responses” is on.

As far as I know, Siri, only announces outgoing calls when you ask Siri to call someone.
The Apple Store will not be able to resolve this that is not the most current version of iOS, that would be iOS 17.3. Try checking for an update again.

We have checked all of the settings, and they are as they should be. It has the most current version of iOS, and everything worked fine until a few days ago. The whole point is that if the settings are NOT correct, then there should be NO announcement for incoming or outgoing calls. The fact is that the iPhone is announcing incoming but calls but not outgoing calls. It should be all or none, not half and half. We'll double check everything. Thanks.

Our iPhone has the most current version of iOS: 17.2.1. Siri was working perfectly, and was announcing the name of the person on both incoming and outgoing calls. we double checked that they are all correct. Does anyone know what to do in order to restart the announcing of outgoing calls? Is it perhaps a software glitch that should be addressed at the local Apple store? Thank you.
I know that. I like that feature and want to restore it. It suddenly it stopped working, which is why I asked the community if anyone knows how to restart it.
