I brought a wireless keyboard with touch pad and want to setup Mac mini to use Chinese hand writing.
I followed instruction to setup Text Input source: Setting -> Keyboard->Input Source-> + -> Chinese Simplified ->
It displayed 4 options, like Pinyin, Shuangpin, Stroke, Wubi.
No Handwriting
Other posting said should have Handwriting. What;s wrong???

iPhone/ipad do Chinese handwriting just as they are. Mac only does handwriting when it recognizes the right kind of external input device. I suspect your keyboard/touch pad may not be compatible. The manufacturer or other users of that keyboard may be able to confirm that one way or the other. What company makes it?
I think you need to contact the people who make that keyboard to see if there is anything additional needed to make its touchpad work for chinese handwriting input.

It is no name brand that I purchased off TEMU. Probably not support handwriting...
When I shop for keyboard for Chinese handwriting input, what should I look out for? Any keyboard that you would recommend?

Apple laptops have trackpads built in. For a Mac, you use the independent Apple trackpad.

But at least the setting of keyboard on Mac should have display of "Chinese Traditional - Handwriting", as setup on my iphone and ipad.
It has nothing to the keyboard hardware manufacture.
Apples keyboard is guaranteed to work. I don't know how you could tell with any other one unless the maker or users say it does
