Is it possible to set up a hotkey in iTunes for Mac to change the names of playlists?

Is there any way to create a hotkey to edit playlist names?

Under Sonoma the already tedious procedure to rename playlists and folders has become a veritable odyssey, with the need to ctrl-click, choose edit from the menu, wait for another window to open, click on the filename and finally have a chance to edit -- all to change a single character. When editing multiple playlists, as I often do (to use numbering so they'll re-order how I need them for a given situation), these added steps have become untenable. Any help or suggestions much appreciated.
