You will need to contact the carrier the phone is locked to and ask them to unlock it.
T-Mobile devices are typically unlocked after 90 consecutive days of use. If said device is paid in full from day 1, all you have to do is use your device for 90 days in a row from this point on it’s unlocked. If you’re making monthly payments, said device will be “unlocked” after 90 days of use. If you stop payments and/or close your T-Mobile account before the device is payed off, the device is typically black listed.
