NFC scanning with iPhone

I have some issues with reading NFC, which seems quite unsolvable. 

The issue is that iPhone in normal state has a problem with activating the reader, when a NFC is presented within range.  

In earlier threads on same matter, the solution offered to scan NFC tags is that, user must use the personal automation feature in shortcuts to read NFC tags. Which also underlines that it can’t read NFC in general, only specific which is already known in automations?

So playing along with this idea, what happens is:

Using the automation for NFC triggers the phones NFC reader, when you have to identify the actual tag wanted used in the automation you’re making. But afterwards when the automation is complete the phone will not react to the NFC tag when presented. 

It seems like the iPhone only is suitable of reading tags when some system utility function is active, and it seems to present it self onscreen in the button like kind a pop up. When this pop up is visible the phone will scan NFC chip with no problem, but question being, is it possible to launch this function?

For further clarification I might add that installing a tool like the app NFC Tools enables the phone to read the tags without any issues as long as the app is in use.

So please tell, what’s the weird story about iPhones and NFC reading 🤷‍♂️😂
