my iphone randomly gets quiet

i tried anything I read about from turning silent mode off to turning do not disturb mode off and nothing is working. I can’t even watch anything with the volume on because the sound gets so quiet I can barely hear anything and then it comes back and it’s really loud so I can’t trust the volume at all. This is a brand new iPhone 12 and I have idea how to fix it

My iPhone 13s volume randomly gets quiet and then back to normal after a few seconds, I’ve tried turning off do not disturb mode, I’ve turned off the face thing as well. iphone 14plus volume super loud randomly & volume bar will not work This is a brand new IPhone 14Plus not even 24hours old. Unfortunately I just had to send back my first brand new iPhone 14 Plus for this EXACT issue and then this new one is doing it now too!? I have my volume set more towards the lower end usually in between low and middle. When I was scrolling through my phone I was startled by the loud text tone! I went to turn down the volume on the side and the same thing happened. The volume bar was not effecting the sound from getting lower or higher! I restarted my phone and so far it hasn’t done it but… what gives!? I don’t want this brand new phone if this is going to be an ongoing issue with the IPhone 14Plus! Is it the update or what?!
