My i mac will not connect to my hp printer
computer says it needs an internet connection

Please follow the steps in Adding a printer. Also, when posting it's wise to be specific. We have ZERO knowledge of what printer you are referring to, the method of connection you are attempting or the version of Mac OS on your computer. We are pretty good at helping you out, but we are not mind readers.
