Does having a sleeve on Apple Pencil 2 drains the battery fast even when it is docked?

No - but you should be aware that the Pencil needs to make physical contact with the host iPad to reliably charge.

Unless the "sleeve" to which you refer is very thin, it may interfere with inductive charging.

Apple Pencil 2nd Gen Battery Keeps Draining Even It Is Docked to my iPad I'm encountering that my Apple Pencil 2nd Gen battery keeps draining while not in use even though it is docked on my iPad all the time. apple pencil battery life shrunk due to charging it too much. my apple pencil (2nd gen)'s battery wear out and I was told that it is because I kept on charging it (like attaching it to the ipad). But then on the other hand, I heard that we're supposed to keep the pencil attached to the ipad?? So what should i do? attach it or not attach it? if i attach it, it would automatically charge and im afraid that the battery will wear out again.
