quit letter to stop linen services with Aramark
We have been using the services of Aramark for our restaurant. They supply us with Napkins and Tablecloth along with kitchen products like bar towels and aprons.
We have been very unhappy with their service and quality of products, and we met with the service manager Joe billks last Wednesday the 24th of January. We first started talking about the poor quality of products we continue to receive from Tablecloth with stains to the bar towels having holes and the amount of lint that comes of them is unacceptable. We then brought up how fast the prices along with replacement charges and the over all dollar amount has risen higher than what the Service Agreement states. Wesley spoke about off set price increases and that is where Aramark raises their prices other than just the contracted 5% yearly increase. Wesley said he does not have control of the off set price increase.
Now we just received a letter from Wesley Cooke stating in good faith Aramark will roll back some of our prices with out signing any new Agreement. We take this as Aramark confirming that they have raised our prices higher than what is aloud. Wesley has also stated that they would like to gain our trust again and that they want to be longtime partners. We are sending this letter to STOP all services with Aramark due to the quality of product along with the out of control price increases. With getting any off set price increase we were to receive a letter or statement or even just stated on our invoice letting us know about the offset increase. From the meeting we asked Wesley to send or forward us the invoices that said we were to have another price increase but we did not receive any from him in his response email from our meeting. Instead he has said that they will be lowering our unit prices in good faith.
Please take this letter as our quit letter to Aramark.
