I have iPhone 6se and for the first two months it worked on a new vehicle purchase after that CarPlay assistance said only iPhone 9 and up will work, now fast forward a couple weeks and my iPhone 6se is working fine on CarPlay has anyone run into this, I don’t want to be on a trip and have it not work,, TIA

iPhone SE, iOS 17

Here is the thing. There is no iPhone 6SE and there is no iPhone 9. Can you clarify on which CarPlay assistance are you referring to?

Your profile states that you have an iPhone SE and you have iOS 17 installed on it. If this is the case then CarPlay should be fine if it is working at present with your car.
