I can create a new mailbox but I can’t seem to move it to a sub folder only my mail email folder. How do I do this only on my iPad?

On my home laptop I can create a subfolder easily on mailbox by right clicking etc. however I have tried on my iPhone & iPad multiple times and the best I can do is create a new folder under my main mailbox. How do I create it under a subfolder that already exists.

EG home- holidays- Ireland

I have the home & holidays subfolders set up but cannot move the created folder - Ireland- into holidays. It will only appear under my main email.

can’t even get it under home as there is no option for it.

I don’t have access to my laptop atm.

Open the Mail App; if not already visible, expose the Mail sidebar.

At the top of the sidebar, tap the blue Edit button; your sidebar is now in its editing mode; the mailbox folders that can be edited have a blue “folder” icon. Scroll through the list of mailbox folders to find the mailbox that you wish to move or rename.

When found, tap the name of the mailbox that you want to modify; the Edit Mailbox window will open, where you can change the name of the mailbox, change its location (by selecting the path), or delete it all together. When you have finished, tap Save and Done.

Hi there thanks gir your suggestions but the only place I can put my new folder is my main email address. It won’t allow me to put it in a sub-sub-folder
