Move hidden photos to new I hidden folder

Is it possible to move hidden photos (there are thousands) into a new unhidden folder?

because of the large number of photos I don’t really want to I I hide as they’ll go back to their place in the general photo timeline and I’m afraid I’ll miss it when moving back to another folder.

Or can you move them to a usb from iCloud? Then move them back….?

Yes, but first off, Hidden is an album. Folders in Photos cannot hold images, just albums and other folders. To move to an 'unhidden album' Select the images you want to move and go File -> New Album with Selection

What are you trying to achieve? I'm not sure I understand.
