Re: Apple mail auto-complete in body of e-mail

Does anyone know how to turn off auto-complete with suggested word and text for the body of the e-mail? This function races ahead anticipating what word I am going to use. It's like having your sentence completed by an impatient user, wrongly. In the above sentence, it would have suggested "completely" instead of "completed" and easily seeded a mistake in the text.

I don't know that there's a way to turn off predictive text in Apple Mail only.

You can, however, turn off this feature altogether on a Mac:

System Settings-->Keyboard-->Text Input-->Edit-->toggle off Show Inline Predictive Text
