How to search Calendar from most recent to oldest

This is something that may have happened after a recent iOS upgrade, but I can't say for sure. Unfortunately I don't recall when it started (probably sometime within the past few months). 2020 iPhone SE running iOS 17.2.1 (ignore the Apple generated device tag; I chose the wrong device when posting). I never use Calendar on my Mac (never have; never will!), only on my iPhone.

I've never had any issues using Search in Calendar on my iPhone. However, seemingly all of a sudden, Search started returning results from as far back as 2017, and jumping straight to the oldest date. This means I now have to scroll through a significant number of pages just to see a result from the previous week (like when I last watered my plants). This is incredibly aggravating and hard on my arthritic fingers.

What am I missing here?

Never mind, I figured it out. I was recently playing around with Calendar Settings and I had experimented with changing Sync to "All Events." I changed this back to "Events 2 Weeks Back" and now it's working as expected.
