Does the Apple Store have diagnostic tools that most people do not?

I've been having too many problems with my M1 iMac computer. I just solved one by deleting/uninstalling "Hide My Email," something I knew nothing about before I activated it and still don't. Anyway, deactivating that app? seemed to have solved the serious problems I was having.

The problem is, malfunctions like that, mostly with E-mail, keep reoccurring, and I've been wondering if it might be worthwhile to have the Apple people look at it.

I have Onyx, by far my favorite diagnostic and corrective tool. I also use "Clean My Mac," and "Disc Utility," but their usefulness does begin to compare with Onyx, an app that has fixed several "unknown and unfixable" problems for me.

What do you think? Does the Apple Store have useful tools that are unavailable in stores?

Never install any app that claims to “clean up”, “tune up” or “speed up” your Mac. These apps exist for one reason: to extract money from the wallets of the inexperienced user. What they do can be done in other ways, and mostly what they do is unnecessary, but sounds good. Unfortunately in the hands of an inexperienced user they can do a lot of damage to a Mac OS installation. Avoid.
