Sonoma Mouse Acceleration Not Working.

Until recently, my Apple mouse has been working great. A quick snap of the wrist would send it across the screen and slowing down would allow for fine movement.

In the past week or two, the mouse slowed WAY down. It seems to be at the slowest tracking speed all the time. Disabling acceleration speeds it up but makes it more difficult to do the fine movements.

I'm running Sonoma 14.3.1 as of today, but it was doing it on the previous version too. Has anyone else seen this? Suggestions?

This is a long shot but have you tried cleaning the mouse as described below from How to clean your Apple products - Apple Support ?

If your Magic Mouse or Magic Mouse 2 isn’t tracking properly, there might be a hair or other debris on the sensor lens. Turn the mouse over and inspect the sensor window using a bright light. If you see debris, use compressed air to gently clean the sensor window.

Mine is working fine in Sonoma.
